Our client, Rf-Technologies, designer and manufacturer of innovative solutions for passive fire protection, has received the coveted Factory of the Future Award 2019. This proves Rf-T is ready to meet the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution by focusing on digitalisation, technological and social innovation.
Together with Stanwick, Lean flows were plotted and production lines balanced in the assembly department, which formed the basis for a productivity increase of some 10% in 2016-2018.
Today, Rf-T is deepening the organisational/human side of assembly activity. The focus is on improving internal cooperation with all employees, including those of the customisation company Trianval on which Rf-T relies. Specifically, this means: focusing on strengthening commitment, shared ownership, broadened task and role content. This should contribute to increased staff satisfaction and result improvements.
