On Wednesday 22 August, Mediaplanet organised a panel discussion on Industry 4.0 (or also the fourth industrial revolution). The eleven experts included our own Tom Van der Straeten, who joined the discussion on:
- How to efficiently apply all the possibilities offered by industry 4.0?
- The human aspect of industry 4.0
- What training is needed to make the switch?
It was an animated discussion that appears in Trends on 13 September.
Tom Van der Straeten:
“You can compare it to learning to ride a bike. First and foremost, you have to want to learn it and see the benefit of it. And if you fall, you have to get back up and try again. That's the only way you can master it properly."
