Summer School Leadership 2026

Target group

You are motivated to grow in your role as a manager, but find little opportunity to do so in the daily hustle and bustle. Our Summer Leadership Lab is aimed at:

• (New) managers and supervisors: you have 0 to max. 4 years of experience in your role as a manager
• Team leaders and coordinators
• Managers who want to sharpen or recalibrate their leadership skills
• We are open to managers and supervisors from all sectors.

Our approach

This course is the summer school edition of our Leadership for Supervisors course and has been deliberately redesigned as an experimental training setting. Instead of five days of in-depth study, we focus on the essence of leadership in three days.

This is not a traditional course, but a lab:

• Less theory
• More experimentation
• Concrete situations from your practice as a starting point.

You will work actively, reflect, try things out and receive targeted feedback — with the aim of strengthening your leadership skills in a way that is directly applicable.

What can you expect? 

During these three days:

• You will gain a better understanding of your preferred leadership style and how you can adapt your style when the situation requires it.
• Your communication skills will be given a proverbial tune-up.
• You will practise giving feedback, coaching and having difficult conversations.
• You will gain insight into team dynamics and collaboration.
• You will experiment with different leadership approaches.
• Translate your insights into concrete actions for your work context

You will leave with:

• More confidence in your role as a leader
• Practical tools that you can apply immediately
• Clarity about where you make a difference as a leader

Learning together is naturally more enjoyable and interesting than learning alone. That is why we ensure maximum relaxation and opportunities for exchange with your fellow participants during the offline hours.

• Personal action plan for your own context
